BREAKING: Flat occupants attacked with hammer and crow bars

It was reported that three masked men forced their way into the flat at around 9.15pm and attacked the male and female occupants with a hammer and crow bars. The three attackers then made off from the scene in a car with a loud exhaust.

Both occupants were later treated in hospital for cuts and bruising.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Brennan has appealed to anyone who was in the area and who may have noticed any suspicious activity to contact CID in Coleraine on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
