Appeal after man hit on the head with a bottle
POLICE have appealed for information after a man was struck on the head with a bottle outside a licensed premises in Newry Street.
Some time between 12 and 2am on Sunday February 19, a 40 year-old male was involved in an altercation with another male when he was struck with a bottle by another person. It is believed a female may have been involved. He sustained an injury to his head which required medical treatment.
