Craft group raise money for charity

Commenting local MLA Jo-Anne Dobson said: “Well done to everyone for all their hard work and effort to organise this fund-raiser which is for an extremely important cause.

“The ladies are clearly dedicated to their crafts and I commend them for using their skills to help others.

“I met recently with representatives of Alzheimer’s Society charity to learn first-hand about the work they are doing across Northern Ireland to help people and to lead the fight against dementia.

“I was impressed by the sheer volume of work they are engaged in to help older people and know that the money raised by the Bannside group will be put to very good use.”
