Course places available for cancer patients

CANCER patients in the Southern Trust and surrounding areas are being encouraged to take part in a free six week course that can make a real difference in helping them through their cancer journey.

The six-week course called HOPE (Helping to Overcome Problems Effectively) has been developed by Coventry University and has been tailored specifically for cancer patients by Macmillan Cancer Support.

The HOPE course is led by people who have had personal experience of cancer themselves and health care professionals. The sessions will help cancer patients look at ways to help manage the day-to-day impact of living with cancer.
