Councillor proposes Dromore bandstand

The Ulster Unionist said she had been pursuing the possibility of introducing a bandstand for a number of years and believed the re-opening of the newly restored Town Hall and plans for a new town centre regeneration project could lend new impetus to the proposal.

“Recently,” she said, “local musicians played in Banbridge as part of the Buskfest event and I believe we could introduce a similar project for Dromore.”
