Consumer advice at old town hall

Shopping around, switching supplier and shopping safely online are just some of the money-saving strategies to be discussed at a free Consumer Council workshop in Banbridge today (Tuesday, November 26).

The ‘Power to the Pocket!’ training event will highlight the small changes that can make a big difference to household bills.

The workshop will be held in the Old Town Hall in Banbridge from 9.30am – 1pm. The workshop will be followed by lunch.

Participants will receive practical guidance and tools to help consumers find ways to cope with the rising cost of living.

It is also a great opportunity to network and pick up free consumer rights

resources.

The workshop is targeted at those who work in the community, voluntary and advice sector, family workers, older people’s representatives, constituency office staff, social care workers and housing officers who provide advice and support to people, particularly those who are vulnerable.
