Congratulations to Sham Fight organisers

Jo-Anne commented, “I was delighted to hear that Scarva Sham Fight Committee have won recognition from the Pride of Place Awards for the work that they do and I send them my sincere congratulations.

“They make a huge effort every year in ensuring that the Sham Fight on July 13 goes ahead, making it the second largest tourism event in Northern Ireland after the North West 200.

My colleagues and I will continue to encourage the Tourism Board and other agencies to assist the members of the Sham Fight Committee in achieving their aim of further increasing visitor numbers. The annual Sham Fight is a huge tourism asset and should be recognised as such.”
