Community invited to Scarva Street flower festival

THE local community is warmly invited to a flower festival in Scarva Street Presbyterian Church from Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10.

The theme of the festival is ‘The Book of Acts’ and the artistic director is Mr Alan McMeekin.

The flower festival will be open on Friday, June 8 from 1pm to 9pm, with the opening service at 7.30pm.

The new moderator, Dr. Roy Patton, will officiate at the service.

On Saturday, visitors are welcome from 10am to 8pm, and on Sunday the festival will run from 1pm to 6pm.

The closing service will be held on Sunday night at 7pm.

Everyone is welcome, so come along and bring your friends!

Morning coffee and afternoon tea is available.

Proceeds are in aid of the Good Samaritan Society.
