Community engagement the aim of PCSP Dromore meeting

Neighbourhood watch, burglaries, speeding, drugs, alcohol and cybercrime were among the topics discussed at a recent community and police engagement meeting in Dromore.

Organised by the local Policing and Community Safety Partnership, the meeting, one in a series, covered the

Lagan River District Electoral Area and was attended by Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators and community representatives from Dromore,Waringstown and Donaghcloney.

Police were onhand to give an update on policing in the area and answer questions.

A presentation was also provided by Sherene Reynolds fromStart 360 about the work they carry out in drugs education.

Anyone who missed the meeting is welcome to attend tonight (Tuesday, June 14)’s t Community Police Engagement Meeting which will take place in Banbridge Old Town Hall at 7pm.
