The family fun activities which start at 2pm will include children’s races, face painting, novelty games and challenges.

This year there will be some added adult attractions with tractor and trailer reversing, tractor keg pushing, pitch and putt etc.

Everyone is welcome and there will be a barbecueand refreshments available throughout the day.

Declan McCann, Dromara GAC Chairman said; “We are excited about the Tractor Run and Family Fun Day, and hope that it will be as successful as last year’s event. We would love to see local people come along and have a great day out while supporting the work that Northern Ireland Hospice do locally.”

Deirdre Melly, NI Hospice Community Fundraiser added; “We are delighted that Dromara GAC have chosen to support Northern Ireland Hospice and what better way than to involve the local community.

“Our Community Nursing Team in the area provide emotional, practical, social and spiritual support to local people with serious illnesses and their families, at a time when they need it most.

“But we cannot do this without the support of the local community.

“With your support, NI Hospice was able to open the doors to the new state of the art Hospice in North Belfast in May which houses an Education and Research Department and which will act as a hub and centre of excellence & advice for Community Nursing Services across Northern Ireland.”
