Clay Pigeon championships welcomed to Banbridge
The event which took place over two days on 15th and 16th July was in two formats with the first day being a Home International event and the second the British Open.
Speaking after visiting the facility near Corbet, along with the local MP David Simpson and Deputy Lord Mayor Paul Greenfield, the Upper Bann MLA said, “This is the most prestige event in the Clay Pigeon calendar and we are delighted that Banbridge was selected from all the venues in the British Isles.

“This is not a male only sport and I was delighted to meet with some ladies who are active clay pigeon shooters. I have no doubt the Banbridge club would welcome any new members.”
