Dance, Peace and Harmony (working title) will explore the dance phenomenon which brought both sides of the community together over 20 years ago in a time of political uncertainty and sectarian violence.

The film will focus on the legendary Harmony nights at Kelly’s, Portrush, The Arena in Armagh, Circus Circus in Banbridge and Mirage in Enniskillen as well as looking at the wider club culture across Northern Ireland.

During those years, thousands of clubbers came to these events from all over Ireland and the UK to enjoy ground-breaking dance music.

Film researchers have already begun unearthing hundreds of pictures and footage from the nights and are now looking for people to tell of their own experiences of the rave movement.

If you have any stories, memories, old photographs, video footage of the scene at that time, call 028 95609992 or 07526653518 or alternatively email [email protected].
