Christopher brings a slice of Paris to Belfast

More used to treading the boards in theatres across Northern Ireland, this show is taking place in a specially created Jazz Café in the City Centre where the audience can move freely around, finding out the characters stories in a totally immersive experience.

Not knowing what could happen may faze some actors, but not Christopher, who has spent the last month devising the play with writer Shannon Yee and the rest of the cast.

Along with this he has been stretching his musical muscles as the show will contain new songs which have been written by the cast in what promises to be a truly memorable night of theatre.

While the world loses its way for a cocktail of self-help and selfies, the regulars at The Lost Martini know better.

Friendship and connection are what they treasure, it’s what gives their lives meaning.

They sometimes speak out against a brash world, often they stay silent -- but not tonight.

The Lost Martini is an engrossing new immersive play, with hiving music, gutsy characters and a whole building to discover.

Devised by Accidental Theatre and the performance company, the audience can freely explore the sounds, scents, sights and atmosphere of this busy and well-loved hidden café.

Despite only being March, 2015 is looking to be a stellar year for the boy from Banbridge.

Having just completed a sold out run of Mojo Mickybo in the Lyric theatre, Christopher will next be seen on our TV screens in an episode of The Sparticle Mystery on CBBC.

The film, The Secret Life of Balloons, in which Christopher plays the lead, is about to receive it’s US premier in New York at the Winter Film Festival and will also be shown at the British Film Institutes Raw Film Festival.

Christopher has worked with Accidental Theatre before in The Biscuit Tin Readings and Death…(on a shoestring) as well as Pineapple, which was written by Ronan Blaney, who has recently won a BAFTA and been nominated for an Oscar for his short film Boogaloo and Graham.

The Lost Martini will run from March 10-14, 2015 at the Wellington Buildings, Wellington Street, Belfast.
