Christmas party for all at Drumlough Orange Hall

Drumlough & Ballygorian Rural Development Association are holding a Christmas party at Drumlough Orange Hall on Saturday, December 14 between 2pm to 4pm.

A spokesperson for the Association said, “We recently received information from the North Pole that Santa has still to meet some of the children from the local area to get their final orders for what they would like him to bring them this Christmas Eve.

“He has therefore asked us to help him do this by allowing him to use Drumlough Orange Hall on Saturday which we are only glad to make available to him.

“Santa is very keen to meet all the children because this weekend is one of the last days for letting him know what they want for Christmas so his elves have time to make all the toys.”

The spokesperson continued, “As well as the chance to meet Santa and receive a present, there will be plenty of other fun, games and storytelling going on in the Hall to keep the children entertained and a great time is guaranteed to be had by all!

“For those ‘too old’ to sit on Santa’s knee there will also be a craft stall and cake sale on the day to get some last minute Christmas gifts for their friends and family!

The festivities will begin at 2pm and refreshments and snacks will be available for all as well throughout the afternoon.

UNLIMITED

A small admission fee will be payable on the day per child (which includes refreshments, visit to Santa and a present) and per adult (which includes unlimited tea/coffee and sticky buns).

The Association would also like to express their thanks to the EirGrid Group (www.eirgrid.com/aboutus/) for their support.
