Christmas Day stop costs dear
A six month driving ban was imposed on a man last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for a no insurance offence.
Martin Kerr (22), Garland Crescent, Lurgan, was also fined £350. For not having a driving licence he was fined £50.
He was stopped while driving at Shankill Street, Lurgan, on December 25 last year.
The vehicle was seized.
Police checks had revealed there was no insurance in place and the defendant did not have a licence.
Kerr did not appear in court and was convicted in his absence.
