THE Bugles, Pipes and Drums of the Royal Irish Regiment will feature at the Banbridge Council Chairman’s Charity Concert in April.

Taking place in Banbridge Leisure Centre at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 27, a night of first class entertainment is promised.

Compere for the evening will be UTV’s Paul Clark and proceeds are in aid of the Mandeville Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital.

Council Chairman Junior McCrum revealed the night has been organised in memory of his mother, who passed away in September last year - she had been treated at the Mandeville Unit.

The night will also feature the talents of Banbridge Academy Senior Choir and Banbridge High School Bongo Drums.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from Banbridge District Council Civic Building, Banbridge Leisure Centre, Gilford, Rathfriland and Dromore Community Centres, Banbridge Old Town Hall and the FE McWilliam Gallery.

Light refreshments are included in the ticket price.
