Charged with damaging a window
A 19-year-old man was charged with damaging a window, blinds and a bed when he appeared last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court, sitting in Newry.
He was Antonio Ferreira, Lissize Avenue, Rathfriland.
He stood in the dock as the charge was put to him.
It is alleged that on July 12 this year without lawful excuse he damaged a window, blinds and a bed belonging to a female.
A police officer told the court that she believed she could connect the accused to the charge.
Ferreira’s solicitor asked for the case to be adjourned until August 25 so that he could take instructions on the matter.
The defendant was released by the court on his own bail of £400.
