Calling all crafters and local 'makers and bakers...'

THE Artisan Craft Market at the Outlet, Banbridge, is offering an opportunity for local designers, crafters, makers and bakers to sell their products during key weekends in the run-up to Christmas.

“Anyone who makes jewellery, accessories, pottery, sculpture, or who bake tasty treats, could be selling it directly to the public, who are always keen to find something different for their Christmas stockings,” said organiser, Sharon Curran.

“The Art Room at the Outlet has already been successfully exhibiting and selling the work of local artists such as Tanya Smith, Jolie Dennison and Olive Duffy for over a year now and will be an excellent backdrop for an atmospheric monthly craft market.”

The first Artisan Craft Market runs on Saturday and Sunday, October 30 and 31st, with the second scheduled to take place on November 27/28.

A final market will be available for Christmas shoppers on the weekend before Christmas, December 18 and 19.

Discounts are available to exhibitors booking for the whole three months and a generous referral bonus is also offered for passing the word on and securing a booking.
