DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart has called for a clean-up of the footpaths around the village of Seapatrick.
The local assembly candidate said she had been out and about in the Seapatrick area and said the footways were in much need of a clean up.
Speaking on the issue Councillor Lockhart said, “Seapatrick is a beautiful little village with the residents taking a real pride in the area.
“I was contacted by a number of people who had concerns about Road Service maintenance of the footways and as a result I have been able to gain confirmation that they will be carrying out a clean up of the footways in the area.
“This is a small win for the area but demonstrates that with some political interaction we can deliver for the people.
“I look forward to continuing my work in the Seapatrick area.”
