The E2A Inclusive Theatre Group in Banbridge has a busy schedule ahead.

Their next production is Beauty & the Beast, a pantomime with all the thrills and spills you’d expect from this renowned group.

Romance, laughter and music are the hallmarks of a traditional pantomime with a few cameo roles thrown in for good measure - what’s more you could be involved!

An information night outlining all the roles is being held on Tuesday, August 27, at the E2A Theatre on Scarva Road, Banbridge from 7pm.

As well as the expected Belle and the Beast there are also opportunities for people to join their established dance troupe, help out backstage, singing roles or join the travelling circus that will feature in this year’s pantomime!

No experience is required and anyone from age seven and upwards is welcome to come along.

As an inclusive group E2A has an ethos of including people with and without physical or learning disabilities, a feature that has gained the group’s Directors recognition throughout Northern Ireland, with E2A being chosen to provide drama services to the NEELB in Antrim and also assist with training in association with the PSNI and local Banbridge PCSP.

This all coincides with the E Factor Talent Competition in collaboration with the Doghouse Sanctuary.

A talent show with a top prize of £500. Local heats are Newry (22 August), Banbridge (4 September), Gilford (5 September) and Loughbrickland (6 September).

And finally for any students studying Health & Social Care, E2A will be at Southern Regional College on Tuesday 3 September to discuss volunteering opportunities.

E2A is Northern Ireland’s leading facilitator of drama/performing arts services directed towards people with and without a physical/learning disability. E2A is a registered charity and receives no public authority funding.
