Local business people attended Business in the Community’s Connections Plus Sales Excellence Workshop on Wednesday November 20.
The event was one of many delivered in partnership with Electric Ireland across Northern Ireland, providing free help for small to medium sized businesses through interactive workshops on a range of practical topics designed to help business growth.
“Listening to business, we know that increasing sales is one of the biggest challenges,” explained Connections Plus Manager, Steve Pollard.
“This workshop enabled individuals in the Banbridge area who are in similar circumstances, to discover the secrets of successful selling and mechanisms to improve sales.
“We looked at how to plan successful sales campaigns; understanding the sales process better; improving sales techniques and skills as well as increasing sales and business growth.
“It was really useful to have sales guru Colly Graham lead discussion and we were delighted to have the support of the Banbridge District Council to make this event possible for local business people.”
Attending the seminar, Chairman of Banbridge District Council, Councillor Oliver Mercer, said: “This seminar was a great opportunity for businesses in Banbridge District, this is a welcomed initiative, which demonstrated best practice and provided businesses with additional skills and knowledge to support them in today’s challenging economic climate.”
