Town nursing home is to create 10 jobs

TEN jobs are to be created thanks to an expansion at a Banbridge nursing home.

A recruitment fair is being held at Bannview Care Home in the town on March 15 between 1pm and 6pm to enable interested individuals to learn more about the opportunities available, the company, its ethos and the training and development on offer.

Amore Care, part of the Priory Group of Companies which owns the care home, is expanding its portfolio of care services and creating around 80 jobs across Northern Ireland including a significant number of nursing roles.

Deborah Oktar-Campbell, Operations Director for Amore Care in Northern Ireland, encouraged anyone who was interested in working at Bannview to come along to the open day.

She said, “Our employees are at the heart of our homes and investing in and developing our people is central to the further growth of high-quality care services for the people of Northern Ireland.

“We are committed to offering a challenging, fulfilling work environment and empowering personal and professional development.

“Anyone interested in working for Amore Care is invited to come along to Bannview to meet myself and other members of the team.”

Since 2009, Amore Care has opened seven care homes across Northern Ireland. The development and expansion of the new services has led to opportunities for both nurses and carers.

Six care homes for older people in Newtownabbey, Banbridge, Coleraine, Belfast, Warrenpoint and Newtownards and a specialist learning disability and mental health facility in Armagh have opportunities for experienced, skilled care and nursing professionals.

The Recruitment Fair is being held at Bannview Care home, Banbridge, Belfast, County Down BT32 3RL on March 15 2013 between 1-6pm. For more information interested partied can call Janet McConnon on 07747 757 836 or email
