PSNI to issue 75,000 leaflets at show

The PSNI has revealed plans for the Balmoral Show which was expected to attract up to 100,000 people.

Since June 2015, they have held 26 Balmoral planning meetings. During the show 60 officers were to be deployed in five police cars, seven motorcycles, one cell van and a number on. They were expecting to deal with around 75,000 vehicles.

They revealed nine Crime Prevention Officers, one firearms licensing officer and two PCSP staff were to be at the PSNI stand along with a police car and a tractor. They were to hand out up to 7500 leaflets, 2000 pens and 500 CCTV farm signs.
