Britain’s Got Talent heads to Lisburn

Britain’s Got Talent is on the hunt for fresh talent for its latest show and they must have heard about the talent in Lisburn because that’s where they’re coming next month.

On Tuesday October 28, Lisburn School of Music/Music Matters will be hosting three hours of auditions at Railway Street, led by the show’s production team.

Stephen McLoughlin, Lisburn School of Music Principal), was going about his normal day when he got the call.

“I thought it was a joke at first,” said Stephen, “and then was delighted we are going to have the opportunity to showcase Lisburn’s talent to the production team.

“Lisburn School of Music is the biggest independent music school in the country, and we have been supporting the city’s talent for twelve years, so we are confident talent will be discovered.”

The auditions are limited to fifty acts, of any talent and any age.

To enter all you need to do is send a 90 second clip to [email protected] by Saturday October 4.

The fifty best acts will then be selected and organised to stand in front of the Britain’s Got Talent Production Team.

“We are excited to put our talent up against the rest of the UK,” continued Stephen.

“We are not sure about dog acts, but we know we have more than our fair share of musical talent. All we need to do is to find the talent, and put these people in front of the team.”

If you want any further information, or need any musical help you can call Stephen or the Lisburn School of Music team on 028 9266 9103.
