BREAKING - Man assaulted with baseball bats in Ballymoney

Detectives are appealing for information following an assault that occurred in the Carnany Drive area of Ballymoney on the evening of Sunday 15 March.

At approximately 8.05pm, it was reported that four masked men, armed with baseball bats, entered a house and assaulted a 45-year-old man.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Detective Chief Inspector Catherine Magee said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact CID at Coleraine Police Station on 0800 555 111.
