Book centre to open

THE Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland is opening a new Book Centre at Knockbracken on Saturday 12 March at 2pm.

A service of worship will be held DV in the RP church building at Knockbracken. The moderator of the RP Synod, Rev Barry Galbraith will preach at the service on the interesting theme, “How do you read it?”

After the service the Book Centre will be officially opened by Mrs Margaret Leahy. It was Mrs Leahy’s husband, the late Prof Fred S Leahy who was instrumental in having the denomination’s first book shop opened in 1963. It was located at 98 Lisburn Road, Belfast and was affectionately known as Cameron House by the members of the church.

The new Book Centre at Knockbracken has a large stock of Christian books and Bibles. During the first week of business 12-19 March all stock is on sale at an attractive discount of 25%. This new Book Centre, with adjacent parking, will provide the Christian public with ample opportunity to browse or buy in this attractive setting on the edge of the Castlereagh hills.
