The club is grateful for the continued support from Banbridge District Council, particularly chairman, Councillor Jim McElroy and Councillor Elizabeth Ingram who will both be attending the start of the run. The event is in memory of the late Mr John Ingram, a past council chairman and honorary president of Rathfriland Motorcycle Club.

This year’s chosen charity is Newry and Mourne Multiple Sclerosis Community Therapy Centre which has brought comfort and treatment to MS suffers for two decades, with the use of High Dose Oxygen Therapy. The treatment is believed to limit damage and accelerate the healing process and has become an accepted therapy for over 100 medical conditions, including sports injuries.

Last year the charity event raised 1,300 which was handed over to the chosen charity at the Club’s AGM in November.
