Barr welcomes resolution
Banbridge councillor Glenn Barr has welcomed the Ulster Unionist Party Executive’s passing of a resolution supporting the re-development of the Maze site, opposing the sighting of a Conflict Transformation Centre at the Maze.
He said: “Its unanimous endorsement is proof that the UUP is ‘corporately’ opposed to the Joint office of First Ministers’ plans which we believe will inevitably lead to the creation of a shrine to terror at the Maze.”
