Banbridge woman faces murder trial
A MAN and woman are to stand trial later this year charged with murdering a man whose remains were found in a wheelie bin.
Stephen Thomas Hughes (29) and 25-year old Shauneen Boyle are both accused of murdering Owen Creaney on a date between July 3 and July 6, 2014.
Boyle, from Edenderry Park in Banbridge, appeared in Belfast Crown Court last week. When the charges were put to her she replied ‘not guilty’.Co-accused Hughes, also denied the murder charge. The case is due to be reviewed again in June, ahead of a trial, expected to commence in September.
