Staff have engaged in all sorts of wonderful ways to raise funds over the years, including sponsored cycles, raffles, onesie to work days and of course donned their pink wigs and tutus throughout October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Gillian Thomson, Corporate Fundraising Officer with the charity said, “The generosity shown by the customers and staff at Gordons Chemists has yet again been truly inspiring.

“Every year, Gordons Chemists play a massive role in the work we do both in terms of raising funds and raising awareness, especially throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“We are so grateful to everyone at Gordons for their continuous support of Action Cancer since 2007. And to smash a £200,000 total in the 8th year of the partnership is amazing.”

“Our staff across Northern Ireland are the real heroes here – they work tirelessly throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month to collect donations, and they’re passionate about making sure that our customers know of the potentially life-saving services that Action Cancer can offer them.

“Our patients and customers have also played a massive part by donating so generously, and it’s these who inspire us to keep on supporting Action Cancer.
