Banbridge mother’s sudden passing

A Banbridge woman has passes away suddenly.

Mrs Geraldine Church of Forthill Avenue died suddenly on Saturday January 17. She was the dearly loved wife of the late Alan Church who predeceased her on February 11 2014.

Geraldine who was a person of a cheery disposition and loved a good bit of chat had met with some fate in her life when previous to this her son Tony died 25 years ago.

She was the dearly loved mum of Dean and Lynn and was loved and respected by everyone. She loved helping out with different charities especially with MuscularDystrophy. She also collected for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal for over 40 years .

Geraldine is survived by her son Dean, daughter-in-law Noleen, daughter Lynn and son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Noah, Ethan, James and Aidan and one sister Christine. To these and all other relatives sincere sympathy has been extended. The funeral took place from her home on Wednesday January 21

The interment took place to the New Cemetery.

Family flowers were placed on the grave and donations in lieu of flowers are being sent to William Bell and Co. Funeral Directors, 23 Kenlis Street, Banbridge, BT32 3LR for Muscular Dystrophy.

William Bell and Co. had charge of the funeral arrangements.
