The second Opening Doors event will be held in Derry/Londonderry on November 20 and will feature two award winners – Ballyrashane Co-Operative (Environmental Improvement award) and Firstsource Solutions (Employer of Choice award).

Each will give an insight into the initiatives and approach which helped them win the awards and to be successful in their respective areas.

Assistant Marketing & Communications Director with Business in the Community, Allison Miller, explained the rationale behind developing the series across Northern Ireland.

She said: “Through these Opening Doors events, the companies that we’ve recognised in 2013 have a chance to showcase why they won the award, but more importantly, to share with other companies their experience and advice on what works and how to go about it.
