Autumn Fashion Show will be ‘Ultimate’ fundraiser for Hospice

Leighinmohr House Hotel will be the venue at 7.30pm for this not-to-be-missed event from which the proceeds will go to boost Hospice funds.

Proprietor of Ultimate in Fashion, Libis McAllister said the audience can expect a wide range of fashion to hit the catwalk from very casual wear through to stunning outfits for the mother of the bride and groom.

“We have sourced a lot of our stock from Paris, Germany and Italy and our old favourites such as Aria, Gerry Weber and Betty Barclay are enhanced by various new young labels”.

Libis pointed out that all the models at the show will be local girls who generously give their time and efforts voluntarily.

She also revealed that 2011 is a very special year for Ultimate in Fashion as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.

“The shop has just been revamped which shows that despite the recession we are still there and still pleasing the customers who continue to come to us and support us,” she said.

Ballymena Hospice Support Group Committee member, Samina Bonar said: “We last held this Show two years ago and it was a great success. There was a full house and we raised a substantial amount for NI Hospice and hopefully this one will be just as successful.

“Our next event will be the Hospice Christmas Fair on November 9 in Tullyglass House Hotel and it will be special this year because it is our 25th annual Fair, so we’re looking forward to that too. Admission is £3 and can be paid at the door”.

Tickets for the Autumn Fashion Show are, however, best obtained in advance to avoid disappointment.
