Attempted murder charge case further adjourned

A Coleraine man charged with attempting to murder a man on July 11 this year has had his case further adjourned until November 28.

Kyle Rowan (25), of Kylemore Road, is also charged with stealing a bank card belonging to the man.

On the same date he is further alleged to have taken a Vauxhall Astra without the owner’s consent and driven it without insurance and absence of a licence at the M2 Ballymena by-pass.

A prosecutor told Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday another suspect in the case could be added to the file and that person is due to attend a police station for interview on November 10.

Rowan, who appeared at the court via video link from Maghaberry Prison, was remanded in continuing custody.
