Ashers Bakery to sponsor Portstewart NI Hospice Walk

ASHERS Baking Company recently nominated the Northern Ireland Hospice as its charity of the year and will be sponsoring the Portstewart Hospice Walk on Saturday, March 31 as part of the NI Hospice Walk Week.

Sylvia Weatherup from Ashers said: “As well as Ashers support of the NI Hospice walk in Portstewart, we will also donate 10p from a number of products sold in the Coleraine and Portstewart area, in the week running up to the walk to the NI Hospice.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our support to a charity which carries out such amazing work throughout Northern Ireland.

“We are really looking forward to the Portstewart walk and encourage everyone to come along and join in on 31st March at Portstewart strand; we will even have some Ashers goodies and refreshments for all participants of the walk.”

Ashers was established in 1992 and has grown from one small home bakery to five own brand bakeries and also supplies supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the North Antrim area.
