Artana WI learn about health
THE most recent meeting of Artana WI was opened by President Mrs June Scott. The speaker for the evening was Sandra Gordon who spoke to the women about healthy nutrition and told them their bodies are the most unique machine in the world. She said people eat themselves into bad health and their bodies waste away.
There were two members with special birthdays, Mrs Peggy Bailey and Mrs Thelma Clinghan, and Mrs Muriel Snowden was also a birthday girl.
The competition for Best Chocolate Recipe was won by Mrs Liz Martin.
