Arson attack in Portrush

Shortly after 8:40pm, it was reported that a house was on fire in the area. It is not believed anyone was in the property at the time of the incident.

It was reported that all the windows in the house had been smashed and the front door had been damaged. It is believed the fire was started in the downstairs living room of the house.

A number of nearby residents were treated at a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation.
