Arrest follows Kinallen cannabis find

Officers attended an address in Kinallen yesterday(Monday) to make routine enquiries.

While at the address they detected the smell of cannabis.

Eight cannabis plants were subsequently located in an upstairs bedroom.

A 25-year-old man was arrested for cultivation of cannabis and possession of Class B drugs.

He was later charged to appear before Banbridge Magistrates’ Court on March 3.

In line with normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
