Armoy ‘refusal’
PLANNERS have refused permission for a site for a dwelling 110 metres south east of 11 Coolkeeran Road, Armoy.
The applicants are Mr and Mrs McGowan and the refusal opinion came before Moyle District Council. The matter had been deferred from a previous meeting.
Planners said the proposal does not merit being considered as an exceptional case in that the proposed building is not visually linked or sited to cluster with an established group of buildings on the farm and lacks long established natural boundaries and is unable to provide a suitable degree of enclosure for the building to integrate into the landscape.
