Appeal for driver to come forward

An appeal has been issued for the driver of a vehicle who hit a car parked at North Street on Saturday to contact police.

The driver had left his name and contact number on a scrap of paper posted through the owner of the damaged vehicle’s door but it appears to be incorrect.

The collision happened around 8.30am when a blue Honda struck the parked car.

A neighbour witnessed the collision and the driver of the Honda had spoken to this person.
