Animal sex charge man to seek bail

A 42 year old Ballyroney man facing serious charges of making indecent images of children, and of having sexual intercourse with an animal will soon be able to apply for bail.

A solicitor for Garth Michael Williams from Mill Road applied to last week’s local court for an amendment to remove the surety for bail.

There was no objection raised to the amendment and Williams was told that Probation Services would be seeking to obtain him accommodation at an approved hostel.
