Before coming into post at High Kirk, Andrew was employed as Youth Worker at First and Second Islandmagee Presbyterian Churches.

Moving to High Kirk is admittedly a big change but one that he is relishing.

He says: “I am really excited about getting stuck in and getting to know all of the young people who come to the church as well as those who live in the surrounding area.”

“I am also looking forward to running the various youth programmes that are already going on and to explore some new ventures to see what God is going to do both in the lives of the young people at High Kirk and others who live in the area it serves.

“I live daily in the expectation that God will do great things and transform the hearts and lives of the young people we will meet and work with that they might know Jesus as their ultimate Saviour.“

When asked about his first impressions of the Thomas Street congregation, Andrew said: “Everyone has been so welcoming, lovely and generous towards my wife, Katherine and myself. It is exciting for us to be there.”
