An evening of storytellingat Lisburn library

LISBURN City Library will be hosting an evening of storytelling with Brigid Brady on Wednesday March 28 at 8.00pm.

Brigid writes and performs original stories and verse based on community life at the foot of Slieve Gullion Mountain where she lives. She has a fund of stories, myths and folk tales which she uses to entertain adult audiences.

Brigid particularly enjoys telling peace and ‘healing heart’ tales. She has performed on local and national radio programmes as well as in schools, community centres, arts centres and nursing homes.

Jane Moore, Cultural Services Manager with Libraries NI, explained: “This is an open invitation for everyone to come to Lisburn City Library to enjoy this evening’s entertainment with renowned storyteller Brigid.”
