An evening of Country & Gospel music with Warren Smyth and friends

COUNTRY AND Gospel Music Fans are in for a real treat when Warren Cultural & Education Society present an 'Evening of Country & Gospel Music with Warren Smyth & Friends' in Cambridge House Grammar School, Ballymena on Friday March 19 at 7.45pm.

Warren who presents one of Ireland’s most popular radio request shows every Sunday evening on Downtown Radio, which in the past has earned him the coveted title of ‘Country Music Radio DJ of the Year’ at the NICMA awards, also last year became one of only a select few Irish artists to ever have been invited to perform on stage at the World Famous ‘Grand Ole Opry’ in Nashville Tennessee.

Warren will be hosting this excellent night of family entertainment and will be joined by two of Irish Country Music’s Young Rising Stars…Jason McGilligan from Limavady, who’s been creating quite a stir since the launch of his brand new band ‘Big Beat’ last year and the lovely Kim Dickinson from Omagh, who’s won much critical acclaim with her lead portrayal of Karen Carpenter during her recent touring stage show throughout UK theatres. All artists will be ably backed by the brilliant Breakaway showband and funny man Terence McKeag will add a touch of humour to proceedings in what promises to be a very popular concert.
