Age Concern Causeway have a ‘Hoot of a time’

The tour took place on the 10th March and the group enjoyed an outing to The Inn, Castledawson, for refreshments, then onto the “World of Owls” where they met Pigwidgeon’s brother(for all you Harry Potter fans out there).

They were able to pet the owls and see large eagles mere metres away. Following all the excitement it was time for lunch and a bit of shopping in Maghera before heading home. An eventful and fun day was had by all.

ACC are planning four more daytime activities to take place throughout the summer months, including another bus tour.
