The first store to be branded with the new look, ‘Something Different’ on Belfast’s Lisburn Road has already proved a success and is celebrating two years trading on Thursday 18 December from 6pm to 8pm with the help of Olaf from Frozen.

“Staying in the festive spirit we have decided to celebrate the anniversary of the store opening with very special guests that include Olaf from Frozen and Mickey and Minnie Mouse,” said Action Cancer’s Katherine Young.

“Something Different is a magical treasure trove of vintage and retro furniture as well as being the first choice for a fantastic range of pre-loved clothing and gifts. We have been inundated with customers looking for that something different many surprised that it is a charity shop and how impressive the store looks and the warm feeling the store has.”

The store raises funds to help sustain the vital work that Action Cancer does across Northern Ireland providing cancer prevention, detection and support services for anyone that has been impacted by cancer.

“We want to encourage everyone to come along and celebrate with us, we have a fantastic Frozen themed treasure hunt in the store for all children to get involved in on the night,” continues Katherine.

“We also have a very special opportunity to get a wonderful photo for Christmas with Olaf by making a small donation to help support Action Cancer’s services across Northern Ireland, a great night for the whole family to come along to.”
