With the support of Osborne & King, The Wings Appeal Shop will open from September 7 to September 20 in Murrayfield Shopping Centre.

Additionally, ASDA Larne will host a fundraising stall in store from September 7 until September 20. Air Cadets from 806 (Larne) Squadron will carry out a bag pack there on Saturday September 5.

The fundraisers are appealing for public support during the 75th anniversary year of the Battle of Britain.

Organiser Mr O’Toole commented: “During the last year the welfare need and cost has reached record levels and we must increase our fundraising effort if we are to continue to meet the growing demand and provide welfare support to individuals who gave all they had to give in our hour of need.

“We are very proud of the welfare work we have achieved over many years and this has only been made possible by the kind generosity of the public in response to our annual Wings Appeal.

Mr O’Toole appealed for new members to join the association. For information contact members at the Murrayfield shop or ASDA stall.
