Easter fun at Portballintrae

SPRING is in the air and what better way to celebrate than to come to Portballintrae Village Hall for some fun and raise much needed money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Portballintrae.

On Easter Monday from 2pm until 4.30pm there will be something for everyone: an Easter Bonnet Parade and contest as well as a Decorated Easter Egg Contest - so bring your egg already decorated - games for the kids, pictures with the Easter Bunny as well as refreshments.

UTV’s Alison Fleming will be on hand to judge the Easter Bonnet Parade Contest at 3.30pm and Decorated Egg Contest at 4pm.

There will also be a raffle with the grand prize, a framed British Open flag signed by Darren Clarke.

The draw will be held at the Bayview Hotel at 10m. The raffle is run by Portballintrae Residents’ Association and tickets are available at the Bayview Hotel or call 028 2073 2922.

The day is in memory of Noel Rankin and Mark Walker.
