Dunloy band prepare for their Ulster Scots Festival 2011 in Ballymoney

Once again the annual festival and parade held by Dunloy Accordion Band takes place in Ballymoney on the last Saturday in July which this year falls on the 30th July 2011. The day falls into two main events - the festival concert in the afternoon & the annual parade of bands in the evening which previously has attracted thousands of spectators to the town.

The concert will take place at Castlecroft and will start at 1pm. Compered this year by Fermanagh man, Gary Wilson the band are really concentrating on the music side of our culture. To that end they have brought together musicians from the traditions of folk, flute and accordion band music and this year for a first, the concert will also feature brass band music.

We can expect a lively, toe tapping performance from this group.
