Creatives Citizens Programme
Creative citizens and local arts groups who are holding events between March 17 and May 31 are being asked to be part of the Creative Citizens Programme.
The Ballymena ‘Creative Citizens programme’ is a council-funded project which gives individuals, local community arts groups and organisations the opportunity to come together to express and experience the arts in a six-month showcase of creative citizenship across the borough.
The programme is designed to allow local people the chance to explore the value of creative citizenship and aims to redesign spaces and services in their area, such as opening up an old building as a community hub, engage with local art in a new and exciting way and provide the opportunity to think outside the box to bring the arts to life.
